Flush doors are a type of interior door commonly used in residential and commercial buildings. These doors have a smooth, flat surface on both sides, hence the term "flush." They are typically made by sandwiching a core material, such as particleboard or solid wood, between two thin veneer panels of plywood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF).
